Why am I returning to this blog after so long?

During this next year, this blog will "document" Devin's OCD, and the improvements she makes. In no way is this blog meant to make anyone feel sorry for our trials. We know that trials are merely blessings in wolves' clothing. Because any improvements will be minor and subtle as the days go by, I want to write it all down so that I can look back and see how far Devin has come. If you are a first-time reader, I suggest you begin by reading this post. It will give you some background and show you a starting point. Comments are welcome, but please be kind. This is not an easy illness to deal with. We're all just doing the best we can.

New Calling

In addition to teaching Gospel Doctrine every other week, I get to be the Young Women Assistant Camp Director. It was definitely a surprise, especially since Darin had led me to believe that he was getting a new calling, not me.

    Right on! Young Women's is way fun! Luckily you are the assistant and not the head honcho on this one! Good Luck! You have a year to get ready!

    It takes a year to prepare for next years camp. You'll be pulling your hair out but maybe, hopefully not as much as the "director".

    But in the end, it is all worth it and very fun. I ate like a champ at my girls camp. Better than I have ever eaten in my life it seems like. I'll see if I can't get those recipes.

    I hope you guys can experience Heber Valley Camp. It's a very nice place, it's a little over 8000 feet high. It's easy to get to from my end, through Provo Canyon, of course you'd be coming from the other direction.
